After time, you will learn to watch the players and you will get a feel for the mood of a game and what the players in that game expect from you. You will know naturally when it is time to speak-up or shut-up. This feeling and the ability to know what to do in these circumstances will come from experience and depend on your confidence. The more confident you are in dealing any game the more willing professional players are to listen to you and allow you to control that game. Announce every action to your table. Call your players by name. Pay attention! Tell your players what they need to do. Pick up the pace and do it with a smile. Your players will respect you more, the game will go faster, and you will make more money.
